By releasing full seasons of TV shows all at once Netflix changed forever our the way we watch and created a whole new set of behaviors: binging, spoiling, losing oneself in the complexity of choice, deliberately delaying the viewing of the last episode to extend the pleasure of the suspense, etc.

During my tenure at Netflix, I started a multi-discipline project to bring to life and celebrate these new viewing behaviors.

This film celebrates binging. Though social media listening we identified all the insights related to binging: the sense of achievement that comes from finishing your favorite show, the social pressure of being up to date, the slight sense of competition between fans of the same show. We discovered a complex and fascinating set of insights and had a lot of fun packaging these in a short film that resonates at so many level with our inner binger.
