Netflix’s Global Tagline
One of my favorite projects working at Netflix was the development and launch of something completely new for Netflix: a global tagline.
Netflix never had one but expanding into so many new global markets created the need for the brand to present a unified front to the world. We needed a single tagline that could easily translate into any language and say as much as possible about who Netflix is and what it offers in as few words as possible.
We picked several agencies and reviewed hundreds of propositions and when New York based agency Gretel brought “See What’s Next” it was clear we had the winner.
The tagline was launched globally and even led to some great advertising films mixing Netflix original content and live action.
